Who are you, and what is your role?
Hi! My name is Sophie, I’m from Cheshire and have lived in Manchester for 6 years. I’m the Operations Manager covering finance, HR, and Office Management and supporting the business growth. (Basically, Innova’s mum)
What attracted you to Innova?
How welcoming and inviting the company was – as soon as I came for my interview I felt at home. The team are super friendly and passionate about their work which is a great combination of the culture I was looking for. The room for progression at Innova was also a pull factor, the directors are supportive of everyone, including the non-sales so it was a no-brainer for me
What is the most valuable career advice you've been given?
Make the role your own, there is no limit to your opportunities.
Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I have a degree in interior design and I'm super creative – I love painting in my spare time! Wouldn’t say I’m the next Picasso but it’s my favourite way of relaxing.
Who’s your ideal dinner guest?
Hmm, tough one! I have loads of options. I’d probably say Adele, what a woman?! She has an incredible voice and has achieved so much success. She is an amazing role model to women and proves that you can follow your dreams but also have a laugh doing it! I feel like me and her could be friends, so I’d also try and woo her into my friendship group.
